Sony Xperia L1 with Nougat and MT6737T SoC Announced

Today on Monday, Sony announces the arrival of a new low-end Android Nougat smartphone – Sony Xperia L1. The handset will be available in three different colors – Black, White and Pink in selected markets including Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, North America and South America from late April. Price yet to be disclosed.

The Sony Xperia L1 features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and it is powered by a 1.45 GHz quad-core processor which supported by MediaTek MT6737T chipset paired with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. It has a 2GB of RAM and a 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

For optics, the Xperia L1 flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.2 aperture, 3x Clear Image Zoom, ISO 3200 and LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 24mm wide-angle lens to capture great self portraits and quality video calling. The device comes equipped with xLOUD and Clear Audio+ technology for better sound quality.

New Sony Xperia latest model runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and packs in a 2620mAh battery with STAMINA battery saving mode and Qnovo Adaptive Charging. It supports Single/Dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C options. It measures 151 x 74 x 8.7 mm and weighs 180 grams.
