Oppo R1k Review: Slim Smartphone with 5MP Selfie Camera

Oppo Smartphones brings Oppo R1k – code name R8001 smartphone, the next version of the Oppo R1 launched some time ago.

The design of the device is very impressive and ultra-thin, besides being a strong focus on developing the ColorOS interface based on Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system.

Design:

Oppo R1k remains a complete monolithic design with square edges to create the strong and masculine impression. In particular, Oppo R1k 7.1 mm thin feeling extremely slender but certainly by both sides of this smartphone is equipped with toughened Gorilla Glass 3 protection to increase a durability.

Performance:

The Oppo R1k is coming with a 1.6GHz Quad-core processor, Snapdragon 400 chip, this chip is designed specifically for the mid-range segment devices. It’s also owned Adreno 305 graphics processors, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, but unfortunately the device does not have an external memory card slot.

With these parameters the device can work quite smoothly with the usual applications such as surfing the web, watching movies, playing games etc.

Battery:

It has a 2410 mAh battery and it is not too high compared with a 5-inch display smartphone. Testing showed that the device can stand about 15 hours with web surfing, watching movies, making calls etc. But with continuously gaming or web surfing, the phone can be used only for 4 to 5 hours.

Final line:

Oppo R1k is a mid-range segment device, not chasing the big screen or high specifications, the device is designed carefully with an exterior features. If you want to choose mid-range smartphone with good photography features – especially for night, the ability to take high quality selfie and want to experience more advanced features, the Oppo R1k will be perfect for you.
