Lenovo has released new smartphone in India today on Tuesday, widely expected to the Motorola Moto M. The Moto M price in India is set to Rs. 15,999 – approximately $237 USD for 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant, while the model with 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM costs Rs. 17,999 – approximately $266 USD. The smartphone will be sold on 14th December in India through Flipkart online store.
Coming to special launch offers, the Lenovo is offering Rs. 1,000 discount on Citibank Credit Cards along with EMI options starting from Rs. 776 per month; and Rs. 2,000 off on exchange of an old device. Additionally, the company is also providing a discount of Rs. 1,000 on the Moto Pulse 2 with the purchase of Moto M.
Motorola Moto M features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display alongside Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), that can translate a pixel density of 401ppi, 3.26mm narrow edges and 73.64 percent screen-to-body-ratio. The device sports a full metal unibody design with antenna bands running on the top and bottom edges. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor clubbed with Mali T860MP2 GPU, and packs a 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded with the help of microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the Moto M phone flaunts a 16-megapixel primary autofocus camera with optical image stabilization, and LED flash. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens to capture self portraits and quality video calling. The Moto M also comes equipped with fingerprint sensor to unlock the device quickly, user can also capture photographs or make payment as well. Moto M also uses double P2i nano-coating, so it can be resistant to water splash.
The Lenovo Moto M runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and packs a 3050mAh battery with fast charging technology. It supports dual SIM card slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 151 x 75 x 8 mm and weighs 163 grams.
