Smartwatches own their market for as long as smart wristbands for physical activity have become a fever in recent times. And well, Mobvoi is putting its newest product on the market, and it is a smartwatch with 4G LTE features.
With a 415mAh battery, the device promises up to 30 days of juice when the Essential mode is activated. It works by turning on a simple LCD display that is normally disabled and only provides basic information for use. It features a 1.39 inch OLED screen panel which is lit to provide the complete interface.
Using Google’s WearOS, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor, packs a 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. There is also support for the Google Assistant, Google Play via NFC, and IP68 + certification, which means it’s swim-proof and shockproof. It comes with a heart rate monitoring sensor and the “SOS” safety feature which can dial 911 and broadcast the owner’s location to a 911 call center at the same time in the event of an emergency.
TicWatch Pro 4G LTE smartwatch will only work on Verizon’s network, the carrier will not sell the TicWatch Pro 4G LTE directly. According to Mobvoi, those who buy the smartwatch will be able to activate the 4G LTE feature one month later, so they can only use the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options for the time being.
