Meitu has launched a new super camera smartphone called as Meitu M6 in Japan. Along with it, the company has also unveiled the Meitu V4s smartphone. The Meitu M6 is the latest device and is upgrade in every aspect over Meitu M4. The Meitu M6 price around 45,000 Yen – approximately $411 USD and will be available for sale via China Telecom.
Meitu M6
The handset features a 5.0-inch AMOLED display with full HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution with a very high 441ppi as pixel density when compared to M4 that is just limited to HD resolution. The device comes equipped with latest Mediatek Helio P10 MT6755 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz clubbed with Mali-T860 GPU while the predecessor comes powered by MediaTek MT6752 chipset. The RAM and storage are also bumped from 2GB/32GB to 3GB/64GB in the Meitu M6 smartphone that can be further expanded to 128GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the handset flaunts a 21-megapixel autofocus rear camera with dual LED flash and same 21-megapixel front-facing camera for stunning selfie and video calling. The handset follows the same design language as its predecessor except physical touch Home button placed on the front of the unit. It runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MEIOS 3.0 UI laid on top.
The handset powers a 2900mAh battery and supports dual SIM dual standby with 4G-LTE(Cat.6) and includes other standard connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/gn/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS and USB Type-C port.
Meitu V4s
The Meitu V4s features a 5.0-inch AMOLED display with full HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution offer a very high pixel density of 440ppi. Meitu V4 is powered by Helio X10 processor with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, whereas the V4s will upgraded to 4GB RAM and more powerful processor.
The smartphone features a same 21-megapixel resolution camera, but V4s will have Samsung camera sensor on both front and back panel with 21MP autofocus sensor and also comes with a variety of camera applications for your selfie. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MEIOS 3.0 UI laid on top. Rest of specifications yet to reveal.
