LG K7 is one of the mid-range Android smartphone was unveiled earlier this year at CES 2016. K7 is comes with slightly lower specifications and also affordable price, but with advanced camera technology and UX features.
Personally, I found a wonderful handset with a perfect build quality in this price segment, largely thanks to the 2.5D curved screen like any high-end device. First of all the K series smartphones from LG will offer a glossy design which will be complemented by a new 2.5D Arc Glass. The back cover of solid plastic material with an intricate pattern that will offer better grip. The devices also feature Gesture capture for easier selfies.
Despite being classified as mid-range segment, K7 uses 2.5D curved screen, metal frame with soft corner edges and the gap between the frame and screen is also very thin. The whole hard key layout is on the back panel, including the power button, which makes both sides empty without any buttons and it would help the device to get maximum possible thinness.
The LG K7 features a 5.0-inch TFT LCD In-cell display with FWVGA resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor that’s fueled Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset clubbed with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with microSD card slot to add more memory.
The K7 flaunts an 8-megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie snapper to capture decent self-portraits and video calling.
The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and 2125mAh battery out of the box. It measures 143.6 x 72.5 x 8.9 mm and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack as connectivity options.
