Lava V5 and Lava P7 Price in India and Specifications

Lava P7 and Lava V5 have been already on the market and available for purchase at Rs. 5,990 and Rs. 11,499 respectively. Both the smartphones are available via offline retail stores and multi-brand outlets as well as online stores. The company plans to release a P7 in budget entry-level segment and V5 is a higher variant, which could be turned out to be the top version of the long-running smartphone in the V-series line.

Lava P7 Specifications:

The P7 (image above) features a 5.0-inch TFT LCD display with FWVGA 480×854 pixels resolution that can rated to deliver a pixel density of 195ppi. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 64-bit processor along with 1GB of RAM. It packs 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.

The handset flaunts a 5-megapixel primary fixed focus camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera to capture self portraits and video calling. The P7 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, but will be upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow soon.

Lava V5 is a higher variant from the manufacturer, its a dual SIM 4G LTE smartphone with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largan lens Blue glass filter, and dual LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 84 degree wide angle lens and LED flash.

The V5 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It has Full laminated screen that’s also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It packs in 3GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.
