Honor 9 teasers are picking up the pace, hinting that the launch is very near. And now Huawei’s Honor brand has officially scheduled an event on June 12 to Honor 9 launch. The company was earlier leaked to be launched the device at an event in Paris last month, it didn’t turn out to be the case.
The Honor 9 is all set to launch on June 12 at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, which is just one week from now. Ahead of the launch, the device has been teased on multiple occasions, confirming its rumored specifications.
Huawei Honor 9 is expected to feature a 5.15-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass protection. The phone has further been tipped to be powered by a 24.GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor + i6 co-processor paired with Mali G71 Octa-core GPU and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage.
The handset will come with dual rear cameras -20-megapixels + 12-megapixels Dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, and 4K video recording. For selfie, it will feature an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Further, the upcoming Honor phone has been suggested to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat, will pack 3100mAh battery and front fingerprint sensor as we can see in the image.
