Hisense A2 with Dual Display, 4GB RAM, and 16MP Camera

Many people remember the Russian smartphone called YotaPhone and its second generation as well, which was equipped with an additional E-ink display at the rear panel to display information with minimum energy consumption. Unfortunately, YotaPhone 3 project was shelved, though the phone idea has much to their liking. Now, it is known that Hisense A2 will work on three largest mobile networks in China; and other market for the A2 will be India as well. Hisense A2 price will be around 2,999 Yuan – approximately $435 USD, by the way the device is still a part of the crowdfunding project.

Front of the device comes with a conventional 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution along with a pixel density of 401ppi, while on the opposite side of the body was placed a 5.2-inch E-ink display with qHD (960 x 540 pixels) resolution. Both sides of the A2 covered with a protective 2.5D glass. On the camera front, the Hisense A2 is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture and LEd flash. There is a 75-degrere wide angle view and it can support a Full HD (1080p) video recording at 30fps. For selfie, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle view to capture wide group selfies and better video calling.

Hisense A2 comes with a pre-installed iReader app that provides access up to 300,000 online e-books. In addition, the device comes with dual-mode dual-touch technology, where the user can control the main screen of the device by swiping or tapping on the E-ink screen on the rear. Hisense A2 Specifications

For the battery, it comes with a 3090mAh battery with support for fast charging. It packs in 64GB of native storage which also supports MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 128GB. There is a dual SIM-cards slot, an IR Blaster to control various appliances, and a fingerprint scanner implemented into power button placed on the right edge of the device.

For connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0 with OTG, and FM radio, It measures 157 x 76.8 x 8.45 mm and weighs 188 grams.
