Google Pixel and Pixel XL Specs Leaked Ahead of Launch

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL are expected to launch tomorrow on 4th October, but before that happens images and specifications of both the smartphones have leaked online. The photos showcase metal unibodies, fingerprint sensors, and also reveal some key specifications of the devices.

The alleged Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones get listed in UK via Carphone Warehouse store, while the Bell and Telus also leaked official renders of the device in both White and Black color models.

Both the Pixel series devices shows off a metal uni-body with Google brand logo on the back, The rear camera sits at the top right with the flash left and noise cancelling holes next to it on the top left corner. There is also a fingerprint sensor in the middle of the back panel. The front houses capacitive navigation buttons at the bottom, large bezel and new home screen shows circular icons with a new UI exclusively designed for the Pixels. 

As for Google Pixel Phone Specs, it is indicated run Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. It’s said to feature a 5-inch AMOLED display with full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top of it. It is tipped to be powered by a 2.15 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU, paired with 4GB of RAM. The leak claims the smartphone comes with 32GB / 128GB of inbuilt storage. It can bear a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.55um pixel, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and battery capacity is 2770mAh. Measuring 143.8 x 69.5 x 8.6mm, and weighs 143grams. 

While the Google Pixel XL will come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, but 2K (2560×1440 pixels) screen resolution, and battery capacity is 3450mAh, while the rest of specs are same as Pixel. It measures 154.7 x 75.7 x 8.6 mm, and weighs 168 grams.
