Gionee A1 Lite has been officially launched in India, a selfie-centric smartphone with the Fingerprint sensor from the Gionee being launched today. Gionee A1 Lite price in India is set to about Rs. 14,999 – approximately $235 and it will be available from August 10, 2017.

The Gionee A1 Lite features a 5.3-inch IPS LCD display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. The device has a metal housing with shiny effect. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core processor which supported by 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 SoC paired with Mali T-720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, as the main highlight of the A1 Lite bears a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture with wide-angle lens and front LED flash to capture brightest self-portraits and quality video calling. There is a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The Gionee A1 Lite comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor to unlock the device as well as other quick operations.
The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat -based on Amigo 4.0 UI out of the box. It packs a 4000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver standby time up to 295 hours. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. For sensors, including an accelerometer, magnetometer, orientation, gyroscope, ambiance, and proximity options.
Gionee launched A1 Plus smartphone in India last month, priced at Rs. 26,999. The main highlight of the Gionee A1 Plus is its dual rear camera setup – 13MP autofocus 1/3.06-inch sensor with 5MP fixed focus sensor bearing a f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. It has the 20MP front-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.8-inch sensor, and selfie flash which is another main USP of the device.
