Fujifilm has introduced an update for its mirrorless digital camera line with the Fujifilm X-E3. The camera received a new 24.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS III image sensor, a 3-inch touchscreen non-rotatable display with a resolution of 1.04 million points, an improved 325-point autofocus system and 4K video recording capabilities.
The Fuji X-E3 is the first model of the X-series which comes with Bluetooth technology. In X-E3, a new feature named “Touch Function” that allows you to create customized camera functions by swiping left, right, up and down on the touchscreen panel.
In addition to the mechanical shutter, with the minimum shutter speed of 1/4000 seconds, it is possible to use an electronic shutter with an exposure of up to 1/32000 seconds. The extreme limit of the ISO range is 51.200. Also updated the camera menu and controls.
Other features include X-Processor Pro, a large electronic viewfinder with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, ultra-high speed auto-focusing 0.06s, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE connectivity. Dimensions of the camera are 121.3 x 73.9 x 42.7 mm, and weight about 337 grams.
Fujifilm X-E3 Price and Availability
Fujifilm X-E3 price in USA is starting from $1,299.95 complete with XF 18-55mm Lens Kit or $ 1,149.95 with XF 23mm F2 R WR kit, or $899.95 for the camera body only. The camera can be pre-ordered via Amazon.com in Black and Silver colors and will be available from September 28, 2017.
In addition to the X-E3, Fujifilm also announced the new XF80mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens, the first 1.0x magnification mid-telephoto macro lens in the X Series lineup of interchangeable lenses. The lens features a focal length equivalent to 122mm (in the 35mm format) and a maximum aperture of F2.8 for beautiful bokeh.
New Fujinon XF80mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR lens will be available in November 2017 for $1,199.95, and it is also available for pre-order on Amazon store.
