Figo Prime With Fingerprint Sensor Launched at $99.99

After the Gravity and Orion smartphones launch, the US smartphone Figo phone company has launched its Prime 5.0 handset in the country. The Figo Prime price in USA is set to about $99.99, budget Figo smartphone packs in a fingerprint sensor at the rear, a 5-megapixel camera, and a dual-SIM card slot for more connectivity flexibility. However, it lacks 4G support.

The Figo Prime is already available to buy in the country, exclusively via Amazon, in Black and White color variants. The smartphone comes with shiny edges, and the power and volume buttons are all housed on the right edge.

Figo Prime Specifications

As for the specifications, the Figo Prime features a 5-inch IPS On-cell display with FWVGA (480×854 pixels) resolution and 2.5D glass layer on top of it. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that’s fueled by MediaTek MTK6580 SoC paired with 1GB of RAM and Mali-450 GPU. The smartphone offers 8GB worth of inbuilt storage that can be expanded further via microSD card up to 32GB.

At the back, there is a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and able to record 1080p videos at 30fps. Additionally, there is also a 2-megapixel front-facing fixed-focus camera for selfie and video calling. The Figo Prime also sports a rear fingerprint sensor and packs a 2200mAh battery.

As mentioned, there is no 4G support, but the smartphone offers 3G HSPA+, FM radio, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0 port. The Figo phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, supports dual-SIM slots and measures 142.5 x 71.1 x 9.2mm.
