Elephone Vowney and Vowney Lite with 21MP Camera and Helio X10 SoC Launched

Elephone has launched its most awaited Elephone Vowney smartphone priced at $299. Additionally, the company has also revealed other handset, the Elephone Vowney Lite which priced at $239. The Chinese mobile brand Elephone announced that the both devices have already gone on for pre-order via online stores. The Elephone Vowney will be available in Gold color while the Vowney Lite in the gray color variants.

A very much awaited, the Elephone Vowney Phone features a 5.5-inch 2K IPS display, Quad-HD resolution of 1440×2560 pixels and pixel density of 535ppi. It is powered by 1.9GHz Octa-core processor that processing by 64-bit MediaTek MTK6795 Helio X10 chipset, clubbed with Power VR G6200 GPU and 4GB RAM.

It comes with 32GB of internal storage that is further extended up to 128GB with the help of the microSD card. There is a 21-megapixel Sony IMX230 camera sensor with dual tone LED flash and PDAF – Phase detection autofocus on board and also able to record 4K videos at 30fps apart from an 8-megapixel front-facing camera to shoot wide selfie and video chatting.

The Elephone Vowney runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS supports dual SIM card slot and comes with a 4000mAh battery capacity out of the box. The handset supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB connectivity options.

The Elephone Vowney Lite, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch Full HD – 1920×1080 pixel resolution display. It is powered by a 1.9 GHz Octa-core processor, Helio X10 chipset and Power VR G6200 GPU that’s coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

It sports a same 21-megapixel rear autofocus camera with PDAF plus dual tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front shooter that’s come with inbuilt camera apps. Both the phones also come with a Fingerprint scanner located on the back panel below the camera that can unlock the device in 0.5 seconds with 360-degree rotation fingerprint identification.

Connectivity options on the Elephone Vowney Lite include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It is backed by a same 4000mAh battery and will be available in Gray color.
