Elephone Trunk: First Video appearance with 5-inch Display and 13MP Camera

The Elephone Company is growing well in the different region smartphone market and they also confident in their abilities. After several successful models, the manufacturer decided that it is time to target on the mass market, and to release some less-expensive low-end smartphone models.

The first step on the road to present a small glimpse of the Elephone Trunk smartphone has not yet unveiled, but already managed to attract considerable interest, in particular, the fact that it is the product of Elephone, and it will be offered at a lower cost. Today, Elephone has launched a short video clip, which showed us first look of the new Elephone Trunk smartphone and what features it will receive.

According the video, we know that Elephone Trunk will have a 5-inch HD display, in addition the device will be available in vivid color variants. Inside it has a a 64-bit Snapdragon processor, it might be a Snapdragon 410 SoC. The RAM will be 2GB and built-in storage will be a 16GB. As the primary camera, it packs a 13-megapixel OmniVision sensor.

Unfortunately, a number of significant features have been left out of the video. As it will be a budget segment device so screen resolution should be HD. It will be interesting to see what firmware and battery capacity the manufacturer will establish in it.

This time Elephone company decided to give a serious competition for those who already recognized as leaders in the mid-range segment devices like Xiaomi and Meizu. It is still too early to say anything, we have to see how much they are ambitious to present this type of device with as much as lower prices and beat other leading companies.

Let’s recall the recently launched Elephone P6000 Pro, priced at $119.99. It features a 5-inch IPS display, a 720×1280 pixels resolution, powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MTK6753 processor and 3GB of RAM.

The Elephone P6000 Pro also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It is Dual-SIM smartphone and runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
