Dynaudio has announced the release of the new active speakers – Xeo X20 and Xeo X30, the models that replace the previous Xeo 4 and Xeo 6.
The primary changes concern the appearance, with rounded corners and the LEDs now placed under the woofer. Dynaudio then claims to have improved the reproduction of the low frequencies and the listening in more decentralized positions. The calculation capacity of the integrated DSP was also increased.
The Dynaudio Xeo X20 is two-way bass reflex speakers. The measures are 180 x 320 x 265 mm. Inside there are accommodated a 28 mm tweeter and a 14cm MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) woofer. The integrated amplification section (which is why we speak of active speakers) is capable of delivering 65W for each transducer. The connectivity includes an analog RCA input, an input on 3.5mm jack, an optical input and Bluetooth with aptX.
The Dynaudio Xeo X30, on the other hand, it is 2-way and half-way bass reflex speakers. The measures are 228 x 852 x 275 mm. Inside there are accommodated a 28 mm tweeter and two 14cm MSP woofers. The amplification always delivers 65W for each transducer. The connectivity is identical to that described for the X20.
The new Dynaudio loudspeakers will be available in black or white colors with the following prices: Xeo X20 will cost GBP 1,999 per pair; while the Xeo X30 price is about GBP 3,199 per pair.
