Canon announced the list of lenses optimized for the EOS 5DS and EOS 5Ds R

Canon EOS 5DS is a special DSLRs camera with the highest full-frame resolution today. It has a resolution up to 50-megapixels and not many lenses are designed to support all the power of this sensor.

Because of this factor, Canon has announced the list of compatible lenses with 5DS / 5Ds R so that users can make more appropriate choices, to make the most of the powerful camera. If you want to use other lenses like Tamron or Sigma, be careful because some lenses of these two firms are failing when used with Canon 5DS.
