Bose has announced the next generation of SoundLink speakers called Revolve. This SoundLink product line consists of two Bluetooth speakers – SoundLink Revolve and Bose Revolve Plus, which are round cylindrical shaped speakers, finished with aluminum and deliver 360-degree sound in all directions via Bluetooth connectivity.
Bose’s goal was to create the loudspeakers, thanks to the success of the SoundLink, the most popular of which was the Mini and Mini II lineup due to the impressive sound quality of the compact speaker. For a better experience, the new Bose SoundLink Revolve series is designed to deliver 360-degree audio, delivering consistent sound quality in every corner of your room. An entirely new acoustic design, made of aluminium, the controls are placed on the top of the speaker. The Bose Revolve Plus version has a stylish and comfortable carrying handle.
The IPX4 waterproof speaker is easy to use in light rain or pool area. Bose also designed a quarter-twenty thread on the bottom for easy mounting on a monopod or tri-pod for listening in the garden or an outdoor party. SoundLink Revolve measures 15.2 x 8.2 cm, weighs 0.66 kg with a battery life of up to 12 hours; while the SoundLink Revolve Plus has a larger capacity, so it measures 18.4 x 10.5 cm, weighs 0.9 kg and can play music up to 16 hours.
Both Bluetooth loudspeakers also incorporate a voice-prompts for fool-proof set-up, and integrate microphones to use as a speakerphone, or with Siri and Google Assistant. The Bose Connect app now syncs two SoundLinks to create left-right stereo sound effects, or use Party Mode to combine the ability to play music with multiple speakers at the same time.
Bose Revolve and Revolve Price and Availability
Bose Revolve is priced at $199 and Revolve Plus is $299 in US and can be purchased via Amazon.com. While in UK £199.95 and £279.95, respectively and available to buy via Amazon.co.uk.
Bose always producing such top quality products, thats for sure. But I tend to like a little more power wit my portable speaker choice and that is why I went for the soundboks
Bose Revolve Plus is a great revolution in speakers industry. It delivers deep, loud, jaw dropping sound with true 360 degree coverage. The built-in mic for speakerphone helps to take personal calls with a wireless range of 30 feet. But the only thing that I don’t like is the battery timing. It features lithium-ion battery which claims to last longer around 16 hours but I never experienced such timing.
I am a Bose lover and using the Bose Soundbar 700 in my home theater. I love this soundbar as it offers more advanced technology features as compared to Soundbar 500.
I got mine AND ITS AMAZING I showed it off to my friends and my Bose sounded so much better then there other JBL and other Bluetooth Speakers that they had.
