Asus updates ZenFone Max Plus M1 With Camera, Audio and Battery Improvements

Asus has started the new update rollout for its recently launched ZenFone Max Plus M1 smartphone, the device introduced back at the end of November 2017.

Among the main innovations of this new update, thanks to identifiable build WW_14.02.1712.29. Asus has introduced a series of improvements to the camera quality with the focusing blur issue, as well as the optimization of the audio and power consumption.

Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 features a 5.7-inch IPS display with an FHD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

It has a dual rear camera setup includes: one is 16-megapixel and the other one with 8-megapixel resolution. The dual camera setup has a f/2.0 aperture lens as well as a 120-degree wide-angle lens to capture landscape and group photos. For selfie, the device an 8-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture lens. There are pre-installed features such as skin toning, smoothing, lightening, and eye correction among others to enhance selfies. The handset also comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor to unlock the device quickly.

The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat -based on ZenUI out of the box. It packs a 4130mAh battery that is claimed to deliver standby up to 26 hours of talk time on a 3G network or up to 13 hours of video playback on a single charge.

Asus ZenFone Max Plus M1 ZB570TL is now available on Amazon.com with a price tag of $259 in two Deepsea Black and Azure Silver color options.
