Aputure, the photography LED Lights manufacturer has introduced new Aputure lights devices: light with a temperature of daylight (5500K) – Light Storm 60d, and a Bi-Color Light Storm 60x.
The Aputure Light Storm LS 60d is a new light for professional or amateur photo-video shooting, in those places where compactness and the ability to work without additional network equipment are important. LS 60d allows you to smoothly adjust the power of the light flux, as well as the size of the lighting spot in the range from 15 to 45°.
The new video light can be powered from a 220V network through an adapter, as well as from Sony-NP-F batteries or from batteries with a D-Tap output, for example, from a V-Mount battery, which is often used in the film industry. The batteries themselves are installed on a special external platform, thereby allowing the LED Lights to rotate freely up to 360° inside the bracket holder.
Another feature of this light fixture is the standard Bowens Mount. Thanks to this widespread bayonet mount, you can use a lot of existing studio light modifiers.
The second photography LED Light that was introduced by the company is Light Storm 60x. It has an extended Bi-Color range from 2700K to 6500K. At the same time, the lighting power of this device is less than that of 60d.
In addition to LED Lights, the Aputure Spotlight Mini Zoom has also been introduced, a 2x optical projection lens designed for LS 60d and LS 60x adjustable focusing LED lights. It works as an optical nozzle with the regulation of the size and clarity of a light beam. Spotlight Mini Zoom can project a beam angle of 15° to 30°, giving users a wide range of flexibility with a single tool. At a distance of 5 meters, the Spotlight Mini Zoom can project an image circle of 1.4 to 2.8 meters, depending on the zoom setting.
Aputure did not name the price of the new adjustable focusing LED lights as well as the terms of their delivery, but they are now listed on the Bhphotovideo.com online shop with the “Notify When Available” status.
Earlier, Aputure introduced the Light Storm 300X Light kit. The main feature of this lighting equipment is the ability to control the color temperature in the range from 2700K to 6500K, which in turn allows you to get warm tungsten tones, as well as tones colder than daylight. In this case, flicker is absent over the entire range of changes in brightness and color temperatures.
