Apple introduced its first ever bezel-less design smartphone iPhone X, which was at the center of the Apple launch event. And most of the journalists had a chance to get the first iPhone X hands-on, first-look and more at the event.
The Apple iPhone X highlights bezel-less design, along with the Face ID facial recognition system. In fact, the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. It is larger than ever at 5.8-inch OLED display with 458ppi, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 625 cd/m2 max brightness, and 3D Touch. The company has pushed the screen resolution to 1125×2436 pixels, more than any previous generation iPhone models, and calls it the Super Retina HD Display.

The iPhone X hosts a range of sensors such as flood illuminator, infrared camera, front camera, and dot projector to allow customers to unlock the iPhone X by just looking at it – a system called Face ID, which is faster and more secure than the Touch ID, thanks to specialised hardware and algorithm driving that hardware.

For optics, the iPhone X features dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with a larger f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures. It has deeper pixels, quad-LED True Tone flash, and dual optical image stabilization as well as custom tuned for AR. There is a 7-megapixel selfie shooter with Portrait mode same as iPhone 7 Plus.

It is powered by A11 Bionic chip and has an Aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminum frame, glass back and is water and dust resistant. It has support for Qi wireless charging, fast charging that can charge the phone up to 50% in 30 minutes and promises 2 hours additional battery life compared to iPhone 7.

The Apple iPhone X has been priced at $999 for the 64GB model and the 256GB model costs $1,149. It will be available for pre-order from October 27 in several countries and goes on sale from November 3 in Silver and Space Gray color options.
