Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL 5.5-inch Display, 2GB RAM and 4G LTE Launched

UPDATE: Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL T Mobile has been priced at $109.95 and available for purchase from Amazon US store. Alcatel Smartphones has launched a new budget Fierce -series smartphone, the OneTouch Fierce XL, priced at $139. The Alcatel phones will be available exclusively from MetroPCS and T-Mobile with off contract and selling will be starting from November 2 while the T-Mobile will start selling from November 30.

The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL is a 4G LTE smartphone which runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD 720×1280 pixels resolution and pixel density of 267ppi. As per the listing, the Alcatel One Fierce XL is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core processor (ARM Cortex-A7) backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) chipset, Adreno 304 GPU and coupled with 2GB of RAM.

It bears 16GB of internal memory, which is further expandable with the help of microSD card up to 32GB. The OneTouch Fierce XL sports an 8-megapixel CMOS sensor on the back with LED flash and front comes with a 2-megapixel shooter on board. The rear camera also features autofocus, Geo-tag, Panaroma, HDR, Touch focus, Continuous shots, Face detection and Scene selection mode.

On the connectivity front, the Alcatel Fierce XL T Mobile offers 4G-LTE, LTE (VoLTE), 3G, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, and Bluetooth 4.1 options. The smartphone packs a 2500mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of talk time, and up to 360 hours of standby time on 2G network. It will be available in Grey color variants.
