Acer announced the release of the V6810 and H6810 home cinema projectors, two new models equipped with the new Texas Instruments DLP470TE chip.
These Acer projectors are capable of exploiting the very high switching speed of DLPs to create more pixels. Specifically, it reaches the non-native Ultra HD resolution starting from a number of pixels 4 times lower, then 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Both Acer projectors use a 240W UHP lamp and offer a 1.2x zoom. Acer V6810 has a brightness of 2,200 lumens while H6810 reaches 3,500 lumens. The duration is still between 4,000 and 15,000 hours, while the noise level is between 21 and 30 dB. Obviously, there is no lack of HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP 2.2.
The pricing prices will be approximately set at €1,499 for H6810 and €1,599 for V6810. While the availability is expected for the second quarter of the year.
