Voigtlander launches Nokton 40mm f1.2 Aspherical Lens for Nikon Z

Cosina Co., Ltd. announced the release of the Voigtlander Nokton 40mm F1.2 Aspherical interchangeable lens for Nikon Z cameras. The F1.2 10-blade aperture lens is compatible with full-frame cameras (Nikon FX format).

It is characterized by the fact that being compact, has optical performance that can be confidently used with wide apertures, and you can enjoy smooth bokeh. This lens is already available for Sony E and Leica M mounts.

The optical design includes eight elements in six groups, including two double-sided aspherical lenses. It is optimized for the Nikon Z camera’s image sensor. Designed and manufactured under license from Nikon, it connects to cameras via electronic pins to add Exif information, use internal image stabilization, and support the focus function.

A focal length of 40 mm (60 for APS-C cameras) is quite versatile and standard. The minimum focusing distance is 0.3 m, the filter diameter is 58 mm, and supplied with a screw cap.
