As expected, Apple presented the cheapest and fastest 5G iPhone of all time as part of the Peak Performance launch event. The new iPhone SE 2022 starts with the new Apple A15 Bionic chip, which is also found in the much more expensive iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, which are now also available in an intense Green tone.
It wasn’t a surprise anymore. As has been rumored for months, Apple introduced the third-generation iPhone SE 5G and simply calls it the “new iPhone SE 2022”. Visually, nothing has changed compared to the iPhone SE from 2020, the Apple iPhone SE 2022 is still based on the design of the iPhone 8 with a 4.7-inch display, comparatively thick edges, and a home button with Touch ID on the bottom.
What is new? However, is the integrated Apple A15 Bionic chip, which gives the cheap iPhone the same performance as the much more expensive iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro. Based on the modernized Apple silicon, the new iPhone SE also has a 5G modem that is compatible with Sub-6 networks. The new iPhone SE, which is available in the colors midnight, polar star, and (product) red, also offers longer battery life based on the new chip as well as new camera features such as portrait Lightning and Deep Fusion technology for sharper and more detailed photos.
