A smaller model has been introduced as a counterpart to the MSI G27C4 E2 gaming display, which made its debut last year. The G24C4 E2, featuring a 23.6-inch diagonal measurement, provides a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) with a maximum refresh rate of 180 Hz and notably does not appear to include HDR support.
This new MSI Adaptive Sync monitor features a built-in VA panel with a 1500 R curvature, ensuring a 3000:1 contrast ratio. It achieves an 8-bit color depth and 250 cd/m² brightness.
The manufacturer incorporates FreeSync Premium as an anti-tearing measure. For interface options, users will find two HDMI 2.0b inputs (Full HD at a maximum of 144 Hz), a DisplayPort 1.2a (Full HD at a maximum of 170 Hz), and a headphone output.
The MSI FreeSync monitor is adjustable only by tilting and has a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), a blue light filter, and a flicker-reduced backlight. It weighs 5.5 kg without a stand. The OSD-controlled black stabilizer brightens dark areas in games.
Price and availability
The MSI G24C4 E2, offering a 180 Hz Adaptive Sync gaming experience, is now available for purchase on Amazon.co.uk at £291.59.
