MSI has unveiled another budget friendly monitor for gaming: the model with the designation Optix G2412F received a traditional flat screen on Rapid IPS panel with a diagonal of 24 inches and a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format).

This budget high refresh rate monitor has a 1ms response time (GtG) and a refresh rate of 180Hz. AMD FreeSync technology helps to raise the smoothness of the image. The Night Vision function increases the detail in dark areas of the image, which allows you to better see lurking enemies.
The new budget-friendly gaming monitor features a brightness of 300 cd/m² and a static contrast ratio of 1000:1. It boasts a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1 and 178-degree viewing angles horizontally and vertically. Coverage of Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, and sRGB color spaces reaches 84%, 83%, and 107% respectively.
Reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions with Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light. Only the angle of the display can be adjusted using the stand, which might seem limiting; however, a black stabilizer function is included to enhance your gaming experience by brightening dark areas when set via the OSD, offering a significant advantage to gamers.
In terms of connectivity, the monitor is well-equipped: it features not just one, but two HDMI 2.0b interfaces, alongside a DisplayPort 1.2a connector for versatile use. Moreover, there’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack, providing an essential audio output option. Finally, for those who prefer a more customized setup, the included VESA mount compatibility means the 180Hz monitor can easily be hung on the wall, offering both flexibility and space-saving benefits.
