After leaking in Press renders, revealed by Google as enterprise device and hands-on video, the Meizu E3 has been officially launched in China. It is mid-range device comes with a 5.99-inch 18:9 display, 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor from the Meizu being launched today.
Meizu E3 Price and Availability
The Meizu E3 price in China starts from CNY 1,799 – approximately $284 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 128GB storage version costs CNY 1,999 – approximately $315. It will be available for order from March 26 and goes on sale in China from March 31, 2018. The handset comes in Black, Champagne Gold, and Blue color options.
Meizu E3 Specifications
The Meizu E3 features a 5.99-inch 2.5D curved glass LTPS In-Cell display with Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and 83% NTSC Color Gamut. It has a 7.6mm slim metal unibody design and it is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It packs a 64GB / 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the E3 flaunts a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 1.4μm pixel size, Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.9 aperture, Dual PD full-pixel focus for 0.026s fast focus along with a 20-megapixel secondary camera with Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture, 2.5x loss-less zoom to capture depth information for portrait shots and lenses are protected by sapphire glass. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Meizu E3 has a Super mBack fingerprint sensor on the right side that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds and is also customizable to perform several actions with pressure sensor offering comfortable on-handed usage. The handset runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat -based on Flyme OS 6.3 out of the box.
It packs a 3300mAh battery with mCharge fast charging that can charge the phone up to 53% in 30 minutes using a 20W charger. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 5, and USB C. The device measures 156.8 x 75 x 7.6mm and weighs 160 grams.
