Lenovo Watch 9 Hybrid Smartwatch With Waterproof Design Announced

Along with the presentation of the Lenovo S5, K5 and K5 Play smartphones, the Asian giant has also announced a hybrid smartwatch called Lenovo Watch 9, equipped with an analog movement and enriched with “smart” functionality.

Lenovo Watch 9 is protected by a layer of sapphire glass on the top, the strap is made of soft silicone while the ring forms a stainless steel shell, waterproof up to 50 meters deep. Being a hybrid smartwatch, notifications can’t be read directly on the watch, but through the dedicated application and the vibration, you can manage alarms and notifications.

Other features include the ability to take selfie shaking the wearable, pedometer, monitoring of calories burned, sleep detection, find smartphone function and other basic activities related to the world of fitness, managed through the application developed by Lenovo.

Lenovo Watch 9 is compatible with both Android and iOS and, as stated by the company during the launch, the battery life can cover up to 12 months on a single charge. At the moment the commercialization is scheduled for the Asian market only in two colors: White and Black, priced at CNY 129 – approximately $20 and selling starting from March 23, 2018.
