Another new esports Zowie monitor screen is coming from the Taiwanese company BenQ. The Zowie XL2731K measures 27 inches diagonally and has a TN panel with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.
The contrast ratio is 1000: 1 and the typical luminance is 320 cd/m². There is no further information on the response time, but it should be around 1 ms, as is typical for TN systems. VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) is at the start against tearing in games.
Alternatively, with DyAc, a mode against motion blur can be used, which, however, reduces the brightness of the monitor. A black stabilizer that brightens dark areas in games is also not missing. Three HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.2, a USB service connection, and a headphone output are offered on the interface side.
The ergonomic features include rotation, inclination, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filter, and flicker-free background lighting. However, the panel is only flicker-free if DyAc is deactivated.
The BenQ Zowie XL2731K weighs 8.6 kg, has a power consumption of fewer than 45 watts, and can optionally be supplemented with the S-Switch remote control.
