Acer announces sale of high-end Swift 14 ultrabook with i7-13700H and 2560 x 1600 touchscreen

This Acer ultrabook touchscreen model incorporates 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1 TB of NVMe SSD storage, as well as 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 1440p webcam, and a fingerprint sensor. Acer Swift 14 Intel Evo notebook will also offer a more expensive version with 32 GB of RAM, as well as a more affordable version with an i5-13500H CPU, 8 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD.

Acer is introducing a new 14-inch Intel Evo notebook to the Swift lineup this year. The company claims the Acer Swift 14 is the spiritual successor to the iconic Swift 5 and features a premium CNC machined aluminum chassis with gold tinted double anodized sides. This Acer ultrabook touchscreen model meets the latest Intel Evo standard for thin and light laptops Raptor Lake-H raptor Lake.

Acer Swift 14 with 13th Gen i7-13700H processor, 2560 x 1600 60Hz IPS touchscreen, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 1 TB NVMe SSD 1 TB NVMe SSD is the most high-end version. Acer also plans to sell a more affordable version with an i5-13500H processor, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 14-inch touchscreen with 1920 x 1200 resolution. The RAM specs also state an even more expensive version with 32 GB.

Standard features of all the aforementioned configurations include a selection of ports with a 2x Thunderbolt 4 + 2 USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, HDMI 2.1 video output, and an audio jack. Wireless connectivity is provided by an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.1 card. There are 2 x 2W speakers with DTS Audio along with a 1440p webcam with temporal noise reduction and dual microphone arrays, plus a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. The supplied battery can last up to 16 hours.

The chassis is available in mist green and vapor blue. The Acer ultrabook touchscreen model measures 14.95 mm (0.59 inches), while its weight is around 1.2 kg (2.65 pounds).

For now, only the i7-13700H processor with 2560 x 1600 60Hz IPS Acer ultrabook touchscreen is available for $1,323.26 from the Amazon.com website.
