Vivo X6 and Vivo X6 Plus with All-metal Body, 4GB RAM and Fingerprint Sensor Launched

Vivo Mobiles has officially launched two new smartphones named Vivo X6 and Vivo X6 Plus at an event in China. These are new flagship devices from the company. Both the Vivo Mobile Phones are available in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold color variants along with full-metal unibody design. Both devices run on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based on FunTouch OS 2.5 interface.Vivo X6

The Vivo X6 flaunts a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and with 2.5D curved glass screen. It is fueled by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor that backed by MediaTek MT6752 chipset along with Mali-T760 MP2 GPU. The handset packs a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB with the help of microSD card.

This Vivo Smartphone bears a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back with LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus – PDAF, f/2.2 aperture; while front has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera to capture wide selfies and quality video chatting. The device additionally empowers with a fingerprint sensor at the back with a 360-degree sensor that unlocks the device in just 0.4 seconds. There is additionally AKM4375 audio chip for quality sound, especially for music lovers that Vivo has always cared in their devices.

The Vivo X6 supports Hybrid Dual SIM which can be used as a microSD card slot and packs a 2400mAh battery with two charging chipset that supports fast charging. It measures 147.9 x 73.8 x 6.6mm and weighs 135 grams. On connectivity front, includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and MicroUSB 2.0 options.

The Vivo X6 China Unicom variant has been priced at CNY 2498 – approximately $390 or Rs. 25,984. While standard variant has been priced at CNY 2598 – approximately $406 or Rs 27,022 which available for purchase in China from December 7.Vivo X6 Plus

The Vivo X6 Plus on the other hand, an upgraded version of the X6. The handset features a slightly larger 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with same Full HD resolution and a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor alongside 4GB RAM but 64GB of internal storage. It packs 3000mAh with same two charging chip technology. It measures 158.4 x 80 x 6.9mm and weighs 171 grams.

Apart from these, the other specifications are similar to the Vivo X6 smartphone. The Vivo X6Plus China Unicom variant has been priced at CNY 2998 – approximately $469 or Rs. 31,175; while the standard variant has been priced at CNY 3198 – approximately $500 or Rs. 33,258 and available from December 21 in China.
