ViewSonic has announced the release of two new monitors, namely the VG2457V and VG2757V-2K. These monitors come equipped with a Full HD webcam, complete with built-in lighting, speakers, and microphone.
Designed with professional users in mind, the VG2457V and VG2757V-2K models offer out-of-the-box functionality for video calls and conferences. The retractable Full HD camera eliminates the need for additional retrofitting, and it even features LED lighting.
In addition to video capabilities, these monitors also support IR-based identification with Windows Hello. The inclusion of a microphone allows for seamless audio integration. Each monitor features two speakers, delivering 5 watts of output, which is more than sufficient for an office environment.
The ViewSonic VG2457V boasts a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels over a 23.8-inch display, while the ViewSonic VG2757V-2K offers a 27-inch size with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. With a refresh rate of 100 Hz, these monitors meet the standard requirements for office tasks. ViewSonic indicates a typical gray-to-gray response time of 5 milliseconds, with brightness levels of 250 cd/m² or 350 cd/m². Both monitors utilize an IPS panel for enhanced viewing quality.
Height adjustment of up to 110 millimeters, as well as swivel and tilt capabilities, provide customizable positioning options for user comfort. These models can receive image signals through HDMI and USB Type C ports. The monitors include USB PD support of up to 90 watts. Furthermore, several USB ports and an Ethernet port are present on the monitors, which proves advantageous for laptop users. Additionally, a DisplayPort output allows daisy chaining.
