Gigabyte, the Taiwanese tech company, has taken the gaming world by storm with its latest innovation, the GS27Q X. In addition to that, this will be the best 240Hz monitor for fps games. Furthermore, it is building upon the success of its predecessor, the GS27QC, which debuted in 2023.
While many of the key features remain the same, the Gigabyte GS27Q X comes with a significant enhancement, boasting a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels at an impressive 250 Hz (overclocked), compared to its predecessor’s 170 Hz.
The GS27Q X offers gamers a Super Speed IPS panel with an 8-bit color depth. In addition to that, it has FreeSync Premium, Aim Stabilizer, and HDR10 support. Moreover, its 27-inch display presents a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 110 percent sRGB, and a typical brightness of 300 cd/m². These ensures solid black levels for an immersive gaming experience. Furthermore, on the connectivity front, users will find two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone output.
While the monitor’s performance is exceptional, it’s worth noting that the ergonomic functions are somewhat limited, with Gigabyte including only tilt adjustment, VESA mount compatibility (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting.
