Vaio Smartphone will officially present at CES 2015

Finally, the Vaio brand will officially back, but not with a traditional Vaio laptops as before, instead of a smartphone.

Surely you remember, Sony has officially stopped the Vaio brand laptop, in fact, the brand was sold to the Japan Industrial Partners Group. The Vaio brand, a technology development group owned by Sony specialist for the laptop line. The Group will continue to develop the Vaio brand, but not for the Vaio Laptop Computers instead of mobile device.

Accordingly, starting from January next year, you can see one of the first Vaio smartphone, the device is expected to debut at next CES 2015. According to the company, the Vaio Smartphone will run Android OS and own 5 inch display.

Earlier, the Vaio and JIP also confirmed plans to invade smartphone market share. Only a few days more CES 2015 will take place, you have to wait and see. Currently, the configuration details as well as the design of the Vaio Smartphone have not been revealed.

Sony still keeps a 5% stake with this brand, but this does not mean much thought to the future plans of the Vaio. They might have to make a decision, will continue to grow by expanding to smartphone devices and no longer bound to traditional laptop.
