Updated: Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Cases Leaked in Images

As we all know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, and not necessarily for all the right reasons. After the debacle of last year’s Galaxy Note 7 recall, the successor has a lot to redeem. The smartphone has been leaked on several occasions in the past, and now we have images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 cases and covers which have been listed via the mobilefun store.

Again, the Galaxy Notes 8 leaked with the horizontal dual camera setup at the back and fingerprint scanner located right beside in the top center at the back. The back is made from glass, and the bottom edge is seen sporting the USB Type-C port, the speaker grille, the S Pen slot, and the 3.5mm audio jack. The volume and Bixby keys are both situated at the left edge of the device, and the power key is sitting alone at the right edge.

New information indicates that the South Korean company might launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in late September at a price tag of EUR 999. And today, we get treated to a new promo image and more press renders of the device.

We can see the dual camera setup at the back, as well as a rear-positioned fingerprint scanner at the rear, and LED flash along with the heart rate sensor has been placed higher, close to the top end of the device.

The dual camera setup on the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to feature two 12-megapixel sensors and come with independent OIS (optical image stabilization) for each lens. The dual cameras on the smartphone have been said to be in a horizontal orientation. Samsung might change things substantially in terms of software. The Galaxy Note 8 is said to bring easier split-screen multitasking, specific features for the S Pen including full-sentence language translation and currency conversion, and ability to stick handwritten notes to the handset’s Always-on display.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is said to feature a 6.3-inch display, slightly larger than 6.2-inch display on Galaxy S8+, with the same 18.5:9 aspect ratio as the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Interestingly, Galaxy Note 8 is claimed to be the first smartphone from Samsung to pack dual cameras at the back. It has been tipped to pack 6GB of RAM and be powered by Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 processor. Again, this information contradicts earlier reports that suggested that the smartphone will come with the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 836 processor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also come with support for Bixby and DeX. It is expected to pack a 3300mAh battery, which is notably less than the 3500mAh battery on Galaxy S8+. The device has been tipped to cost around $900 in the US and it will be made available in Black, Gold, and Blue colors.
