Netgear has expanded its range of office and home router models with the announcement of the Nighthawk AX4 4G LTE Modem + WiFi6 Router.
The Netgear nighthawk router, as the name implies, combines the capabilities of a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) router and a modem supporting fourth-generation 4G / LTE cellular networks. Thus, Wi-Fi coverage can be formed even where there is no wired Internet access infrastructure.
The night hawk router can operate in the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands. In the first case, the data transfer rate reaches 600 Mbit/s, in the second – 1200 Mbit/s.
The Netgear wifi router is based on a quad-core processor and is equipped with two external antennas. There are one WAN network port and four LAN connectors, as well as a USB 2.0 port. There is a slot for a nanoSIM card and a slot for connecting an external LTE antenna.
The nighthawk modem is made in black. Dimensions are 295.8 × 206 × 57.2 mm and weigh 580 g.
