The MSI G24C6P gaming monitor, released in 2021 but no longer available in stores, is set to be replaced by a successor model called MSI G24C6P E2. With a 1500R VA panel and Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), the E2 model offers a slightly larger screen size of 23.8 inches and an improved maximum refresh rate of 180 Hz, up from the previous 144 Hz.
Other specifications for the E2 model include 8-bit color depth, 250 cd/m² brightness, 112 percent sRGB, 89 percent DCI-P3, and 88 percent Adobe RGB, along with a contrast ratio of 3000:1. While only Adaptive Sync is mentioned for anti-tearing technology, it is likely that the E2 model also supports FreeSync Premium, like its predecessor.
In terms of connectivity, the E2 model features two HDMI 2.0b inputs (upgraded from 1.4), a DisplayPort 1.2a, and a headphone output. Ergonomic features include tilt, height adjustment, VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm), a black stabilizer, blue light filtering, and flicker-reduced backlighting.
