MSI Claw A1M Gaming handheld with Meteor Lake and Thunderbolt: Pre-order Now

MSI has now completely unveiled the MSI Claw A1M and communicated prices. It is a gaming handheld based on a modern processor from Intel, and the model will come onto the market in three model variants.

MSI has recently released the product pages for their new handheld device, the Claw A1M. The USA market offers two versions of this gaming handheld. The A1M is likely to come onto the market with at least both the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and the Intel Core Ultra 5 135H – the 155H variant has an M.2 SSD that is twice as large at one terabyte. The RAM always measures 16 GB. The MSI Claw A1M will also come onto the market with the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and a 512 GB SSD.

The MSI handheld boasts a seven-inch screen, with a brightness of up to 500 cd/m², a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. A microSD card slot is available and should allow for easy storage expansion, the USB Type C port is a Thunderbolt 4 port. The 29.4 x 11.7 x 2.1-centimeter system weighs 675 grams and has stereo speakers.

Users can charge the 53 Wh battery via USB Type C, supporting charging with an output of up to 65 watts. This device features two joysticks, action buttons, triggers, a control pad, and macro buttons, as is customary. The action buttons and joysticks are illuminated, and the triggers and joysticks utilize Hall sensors. It supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and it runs on Windows 11 Home.

MSI Claw A1M price and release date

In the USA, the prices for the Claw A1M start from $699.99 for the version with Ultra 5-135H + 512GB SSD, $749.99 for the version with Ultra 7-155H + 512GB SSD, and the high-end model with Ultra 7-155H + 1TB SSD is priced at $799.99. These models are already available for pre-orders on Bhphotovideo.com.
