Meike 25mm F0.95 lens for Sony E, Fujifilm X, Nikon Z, Canon EF-M, Canon RF, and MFT system

Meike has introduced a manual ultra-fast lens, the 25mm F0.95. The lens is designed to cover APS-C sensors and is available for mounts such as Fujifilm X, Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon EF-M, Canon RF, and MFT system cameras.

The optical scheme consists of 11 elements arranged in 9 groups. There is no information about whether there are special elements among them, but there is a multi-layer anti-reflection coating. Its body is made of metal is high-quality processed and can be adjusted comfortably and easily.

The diaphragm has 13 blades and allows for adjustments to the relative aperture in the range of F0.95 to F16. All aperture settings are made manually using the ring on the lens.

Focusing is also done manually using a ring on the lens. The minimum focusing distance is 0.25m, and the maximum magnification is 0.13x.

The field of view angle is 59.3° on cameras with an APS-C sensor and 47.6° on MFT cameras. There is also a thread for a light filter with a diameter of 62 mm. The weight of the lens is only 600 grams.

Meike recently also introduced a 35mm F0.95 manual lens. It is designed for mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensors: Canon EF-M, Canon EF, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon Z, and Sony E. The optics provide an equivalent focal length of 53mm on cameras with APS-C sensors. It has been priced at $259 / £269.
