Just a couple of hours ago, the South Korean company LG has announced its new Smartphone device called LG Band Play.
LG has announced in the South Korean market and this is a music smartphone, the main highlight of the device is 1W loud speaker, complemented by LG QuadBeat 3 earphones, originally released as an accessory for its flagship smartphone LG G4. The LG Band Play smartphone will go on sale this week at KRW 394.800 – approximately $355 and the company itself refers this smartphone for the mid-range segment.
The LG Band Play is running latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is based on 64-bit hardware platform. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM.
The LG Band Play sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 293 ppi. This device is also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with a laser autofocus technology and dual-LED flash, while a 5-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera for video calls and selfie.
The LG Band Play smartphone is backed by a 2300mAh battery, and 16GB of internal memory can also be expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB. For connectivity, includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0, and NFC 2.0 options. The measuring of the device is 139.7 x 71.9 x 8.3mm and weighs 126 grams.
LG Band Play will be in South Korea before the end of the week and will be available in white and black color options. But the availability details for other countries are not available for now.
Recently, LG launched LG G4 Stylus and LG G4c Smartphones in Korea. The LG G4 Stylus has 5.7-inch IPS display, a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and a 3000mAh battery capacity.
Meanwhile, the LG G4c with a 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. It has a 5.0-inch IPS display, a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and a 2540mAh battery capacity.
