LG 105-inch 5K TV officially launched in India

LG has officially launched 105-inch 5K TV in India with a price tag of Rs. 59,99,900 – approximately $ 96,144.


This is a first Korean curved screen TV with 105-inch size codenamed LG 105UC9, supporting a 5K resolution of 5120 x 2160 pixels, or 5 times higher than the current standard Full-HD Smart Tvs.

Last appears at CES 2014 technology exhibition took place in late January, LG features a LG 5K TV with a screen size of 105-inch resolution up to 5120×2160 pixels (more than 11 million pixels, larger than 4K resolution) with the screen ratio of 21:9, instead of the standard television screen ratio of 16:9 often seen on the high-resolution Smart TV model. This ratio is often used in cinema screens.

The LG 105-inch 5K TV powered by True 4K Engine Pro image processing technology with the ability to upgrade the content with low resolution content up to close to 4K resolution, to help bring a better experience to viewers on every content.

The LG 105-inch 5K TV also equipped with 7.2 channel sound system with 150 watts of power and ULTRA Surround technology by Harman Kardon. With this technology, when users see movies on the 105 Inch TV to get the feeling like you’re watching a movie in modern theater. Besides, LG 105 Inch Television also uses the webOS platform helps users to easily manipulate the device, as well as that allows users to easily switch between content and browsing, discover new TV programs, applications, services and connected with other entertainment devices too.

This LG 5K TV Price around $ 117,000 when sold in Korea at first launched, in India its cheaper than the launched price of $ 117,000.
