Lenovo Legion Y27-30 Gaming Monitor with IPS display and 180 Hz

The recently unveiled Legion Y27h-30 (approx. $420 on Amazon) and Legion Y27q-30 (approx. $390 on Amazon) gaming monitors are joined by a sister model called the Lenovo Y27-30. The 27- inch Legion monitor uses Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) instead of WQHD (2560×1440 pixels) and also achieves a refresh rate of 180 Hz. There is no DisplayHDR certification, but HDR10 support.

The IPS panel that is used offers a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 1 ms response time (grey to gray), 400 cd/m² typical brightness, 8-bit color depth, and 99 percent sRGB. Two internal 3-watt loudspeakers are used as sound generators. To eliminate tearing in games, Lenovo equips the 27-inch FHD monitor with FreeSync Premium. In terms of interfaces, there are two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1), and a headphone output.

Rotation, tilt, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting are offered as ergonomic functions. The Lenovo Legion Y27-30 weighs 4.4 kg without the stand and consumes 48 watts in operation, although the value is likely to be significantly lower under real conditions.
