Lenovo has unveiled the ThinkStation P3 Tiny, a mini-computer boasting exceptional power and performance. Despite its compact size, this device stands out with its potential for up to 24 processor cores, a dedicated Nvidia GPU, and the capability to support up to four monitors. Remarkably, all of this is achieved within a case that occupies a mere volume of approximately one liter.
The all-new Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tiny measures a modest 18.3 x 17.9 x 3.7 centimeters, making it slightly smaller than the Apple Mac Mini. However, its diminutive size belies its impressive capabilities. Lenovo offers a comprehensive range of Intel Raptor Lake processors for this device, with the choice of TDP options of 35 watts or 65 watts.
In its top-tier configuration, the mini-computer can accommodate either an Intel Core i9-13900 or an Intel Core i9-13900T, both equipped with eight performance cores and sixteen efficiency cores. For those who seek more than the Intel UHD Graphics 770, a selection of Nvidia graphics chips is available, with options extending up to the Nvidia T1000, equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6 graphics memory.
The power of this workstation GPU, based on the TU117 architecture, is akin to that of an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. With four mini DisplayPorts on the graphics card, the ThinkStation P3 Tiny can readily drive up to four monitors concurrently.
The capacity for up to 64 GB of DDR5-4800 memory and a maximum of two M.2 SSDs amplifies the versatility of this device. Surprisingly, it even accommodates a DVD drive with a thickness of up to 9 millimeters.
