As part of a photo exhibition in London with photographs from the “James Bond” movies, Leica is launching a special edition of its D-Lux 7. The new Leica compact camera with an image sensor in FourThirds format and a built-in zoom comes in an adapted, stylish design. Leica D-Lux 7 007 also comes with a built-in 24-70mm zoom sensor and exclusive accessories.
The exclusive exhibition with legendary photographs from the 60-year history of the James Bond films meets the elegant, limited special edition of the premium compact camera D-Lux 7 from Leica, which was introduced in 2018 and has since appeared in various special editions.
The D-Lux 7 007 Edition also radiates this aura with its high-quality textile cover with diamond pattern embossing, which is being used for the first time on a D-Lux 7. The pattern can also be found on the handle belonging to the set, which ensures the safe handling of the camera with its leather wrist strap.
The Leica D-Lux 7 007 Edition shows the well-known 007 logos on its upper side. The automatically opening lens cap, which is also part of the set, has the classic “gun barrel” look made famous by the opening credits of the James Bond movies. The leather holster is highly characteristic of the set. The camera is not only easy to carry, but it is also ready to shoot very quickly.
With its large image sensor and the fast lens DC-Vario-Summilux 1.7-2.8/10.9-34mm ASPH. (corresponds to 24 – 75 mm in KB format), the D-Lux 7 stands for superior image quality with very compact dimensions. The new Leica compact camera has built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when used in conjunction with the Leica FOTOS app for iOS and Android, which permits sharing imagery directly to a linked mobile device.
