After the presenting Leica MP Typ 240 Safari kit, Leica officially add the special edition called Leica MP Correspondent.
The Leica MP Correspondent was designed by Lenny Kravitz, a musician, rock star, singer, songwriter and is a designer specializing to modify the premium product and give them a classic appearance. Leica said only 125 units will be sold globally from March to cost $ 24.500 per set.
Kravitz is a passionate about the Leica photography. He has released a Photobook taken with a Leica MP about his rock star life. The Kravitz first Leica is Leicaflex given by his father when he’s 21 years old. In Leica MP Correspondent version, the Kravitz wanted to bring the beauty of the old Leica cameras into the new product. The out body of the camera and the lens are give old style and easy to operate and has been used continuously for many years.

The entire skin of his body was replaced with snakeskin, including the strap. The unit is supplied with a SUMMICRON M 35mm f/2 ASPH lens and SUMMILUX M 50mm f / 1.4 ASPH lens in a container designed and handcrafted from solid leather. Regarding the Leica MP Correspondent specifications remains unchanged compared with previous releases.
