HTC is now offering the new Vive XR Elite VR headset for pre-order. This new HTC Vive VR headset system is aimed at demanding users who may want to use it both for productivity and media consumption on the go.
According to the manufacturer, the HTC Vive XR Elite headset can be converted into wearable glasses using the battery, which has a capacity of 26.6 Wh.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 SoC is used and has access to 12 GB of RAM. The internal memory is 128 GB. The Vive VR headset can also be used on the go to play media content via a smartphone. Image content can be transmitted from a PC via USB type C or wirelessly via WiFi 6E.
The resolution is 1,920 x 1,920 pixels per eye, the refresh rate is 90 Hz, and the field of view is 110 degrees. The Vive HTC model is suitable for people with a pupil distance of between 54 and 73 millimeters and can compensate for ametropia depending on its type and severity.
