The HP Omen Transcend models are HP’s first gaming laptops to feature a mini-LED display. With their thinner and lighter chassis, these Omen new laptop models are limited to an RTX 4070 dGPU, while they support an i9-13900HX processor. Port selection includes two Thunderbolt 4 connectors.
HP Omen Transcend 16 gaming notebook is not only suitable for gaming but also for creative tasks such as editing photos and videos thanks to the discreet design, large trackpad, color-accurate display, and a 97 Wh battery in the approximately 2-centimeter thin case.
The highlight of the HP OMEN series laptop is the 16-inch mini LED display, which is executed in 16:10 format. The screen offers a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,180 nits, the DCI-P3 color space can be displayed in full. Due to the 2.1 kilogram light, 19.9-millimeter thin case, and the large 97 Wh battery, the laptop should also be suitable for working on the go.
An Intel Core i9-13900HX with eight performance and 16 efficiency cores and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU, which offers 8 GB of GDDR6 graphics memory and a TGP of 130 watts, provide the necessary performance. The cooling system with rectangular ventilation openings should ensure a lower chip and housing temperature.
There is also 32 GB DDR5-5,600 RAM and a PCIe 4.0 SSD with a capacity of up to 2 TB. Stereo speakers from Bang & Olufsen, a keyboard with RGB lighting, two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C), two USB-A, and HDMI 2.1 round off the equipment.
