HP Smart Tank 7000: Three affordable, all-in-one inkjet printers

HP Inc. has introduced the new affordable and sustainable “HP Smart Tank 7000” family of three all in one HP Inkjet Printers. The HP Smart Tank 7005, the Smart Tank 7305, and the Smart Tank 7605 consist of a four color printer (1200 dpi, color 4800 x 1200 dpi) with four easy-to-fill color ink tanks and an A4 flatbed scanner (1200 PPI) with which to print, scan and copy.

The medium and top HP inkjet printers are equipped with an automatic document feeder (ADF) and allow scans and copies in batch mode. The top HP smart printer Smart Tank 7605 also offers an integrated fax unit (color). The HP inkjet printers can be used via USB, WLAN / WiFi, and BlueTooth Low Energy (BLE) from a computer and smartphone/tablet.

Typical and eponymous for the Thermal inkjet devices of the “Smart Tank” series are the large ink tanks, which can be easily and relatively inexpensively filled with inks from refill bottles and enable a large print run. This is why the devices, which are more geared towards office tasks, are specifically aimed at users who print large quantities every day. With automatic double-sided printing and multi-sided scanning, users save time and increase their productivity.

The new all in one printer devices in the “HP Smart Tank 7000” series are the first ink tank printers from HP that are made from more than 25 percent recycled plastics – they fit seamlessly into the company’s product portfolio, which has been developed with a focus on sustainability. Users can recycle compatible HP ink tanks through the HP Planet Partners program. HP is thus driving its vision of a closed recycling process and at the same time reducing the use of new plastics.

The Deskjet printer devices “HP Smart Tank 7000” series offers users an innovative, intelligent printing solution. An ink tank printing system is specially developed for users who print large numbers of pages every day. The smart HP printer models are made from more than 25 percent recycled plastic, and the ink tanks are recyclable through the HP Planet Partners program.

Thanks to dual-band Wi-Fi and the free “HP Smart” app, users can print wirelessly from anywhere. The new Magic-Touch-Panel or the control panel of the 7605 and the intelligent lighting functions of the tanks o adapt to the working methods of the users, tasks can be managed and done more easily and efficiently.

HP inkjet printers prices and availability

The HP Smart Tank 7005 is the cheapest model with a price of £419.84 on Amazon.co.uk, while the HP Smart Tank 7305 with ADF and a price of £470.56 is only slightly more expensive, and it can also be purchased via the Amazon.co.uk store. The top model of the three innovations is the HP Smart Tank 7605 with ADF and fax is not listed yet.

Earlier this year, Canon has also unveiled two new wireless all in one printer models: Canon Pixma TS3520 and Pixma G620 MegaTank MFPs. Both Canon Pixma wireless printer models received ink tanks that are fairly standard for such devices from Canon, but the MegaTank uses larger capacities, according to the manufacturer than the younger Pixma TS3520 cheap all in one printer.
