HP Fortis 11 G10: Unbreakable Chromebook Meets Unbelievable Affordability

The HP Fortis 11 G10, a new Chromebook, withstands challenging conditions, making it suitable for use in environments like production facilities or schools. It offers the option to include a cellular modem.

HP caters to different user groups with the Fortis G10, such as students and employees in industries like oil, who require protection against harsh environmental conditions. The device successfully passed the MIL-STD-810 tests and its construction is specifically designed to withstand falls. To prevent damage or breakage, the reinforced USB Type C port is used for charging.

The HP Fortis 11 G10 is available with four different 11.6-inch screens, all providing a resolution of 1,366 x 7.86 pixels. These screens vary in brightness, and a touchscreen option is also available. However, it does not have strong color coverage, and it does not support pen input.

Measuring 295 x 204.5 x 19.8 millimeters, the Chromebook features Intel N processors and LPDDR5 RAM with capacities of 4, 8, or 16 gigabytes, running at 4,800 MHz. The internal storage options include 32, 64, or 128 gigabytes, using eMMC or USF storage technologies. The battery has a capacity of 47 Wh and can charge up to 90 percent in 90 minutes through the USB Type C port.

Furthermore, there is an optional 4G modem that can be added, and the Chromebook has the capability to connect to external screens through USB Type C and HDMI. It also includes a combined headphone and microphone jack, as well as a built-in HD camera, speakers, and microphones.
